Mr. Waman Govind Tambwekar was born on 1st of April 1937. He had done his B. Com, LLM, DBM from Bombay University and by profession a Company Secretary in practice with a religious family background. He had, in 1983 set up a Public Charitable Trust in Mumbai. His mission was to study and propagate the motivational teachings of 'practising excellence in walks of life', as indicated by Shri Samarth Ramdas Swami, spiritual advisor of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj the Great Indian King of 17th century.

Mr. W. G. Tambwekar, has translated the teachings of Shri Samarth Ramdas Swami, in ENGLISH and GUJARATI, through the medium of Shri Samarth Ramdas Swami Krupa Trust , Vile Parle (E), Mumbai 400057, India. His publications are given below
