EXPERIENCE OF
SHRI SAMARTH RAMDAS

Samarth explains his own experience. ‘Our family deity is ‘Shriram’,Raghunath, with whose blessings, pursuit of truth is followed. Lord Shriram rescued the Gods from the prisons of Demons. I am the servant of that God Raghunath. I have gained the knowledge of self by serving him.’
‘By deficiency off service, downfall is definite. Make up your mind, that whatever is not acceptable to God, is all falsity. ‘Whoever thinks himself superior. He cannot be real knower of ultimate truth. You have no knowledge, you do not sing song of Gods, You have ego of yourself. Please know that, at the search for absolute truth there is no place to Guesswork. It is actual experience-a cash transaction.’ The experience of Shri Samarth Ramdas, is that by singing the songs of God, Shriram; man gets knowledge, reputation. Samarth requests everybody to have their own revelations and know for themselves.
The work undertaken, by remembering and seeking the blessing of Shriram, definitely succeeds. ‘The Doer is God, Shriram. I am not the doer.’ Such is the statement when one practises worship of God-with full virtues. And in stateless self situation, His blessings melt one into sublimation. You will get success, fame, influence by calling Shriram the Great. Performer. If one acts, with the feeling that he is the doer, seperatism gains ground. Human life is for two days, the god is everlasting. Our acquanitance is small, while universe is known to Almighty. So continuously remember the name of God Raghunath. Do not hesitate in mind. The body gets tuned to worship. The prudence removes the ego. It teaches that the visual world is Illusion. Songs of God Shriram, the eyes of perception, say the dream is false. The whole world is also one sort of a dream and so it is falsity.

NO EQUATION OF
SCENE & TRUTH

The disciple is not satisfied. Once again he asks swamiji! it is true that you are saying this; but how can we say, the things seen by us false? Samarth once agains explains that everything that is seen is not always true. The learned person knows this. The Dull, fool, Ignorant however believe like this. And by seeing the visual scene, they think whatever is stated in Books in wrong. This is not correct. Do not become affected by doubts and think that whatever you see is the only truth. The doer sees mirage and runs after it. In the dream at night, we see lot of wealth amassed? The skilful painter, paints exactly the same; which gives rise to love, when seen. It looks like live picture, but will anybody call it a LIVE picture? By seeing objects in picture one is tempted. But in the morning they are lifeless. Everybody knows, the tradition of role playing drama called "Ten incarnations’ In that drama, there is Ram, Laxman, Ravan, ShriKrishna, Pandavas, Kauravs, roles are presented. But will anybody call those actors and actresses as God/Goddesses. In this pictursque presentation, the Artists’ performance is very lively but all know, that it is a mere presentation. When we see upwards, The sky is upturned sky, but while seeing in the water, the sky, upward round and in between there are stars. But all know that whatever is seen in the water is the reflection of outer object. How can it be true? The king got done, his statues from the sculptors, but will anybody call them living king? Where is the lifeforce in it? Whatever image we see by eyes, how can it be true? If before parallel mirror, many faces are seen. Truly there is only one Face, a true one. There are so many images of that face. If you are walking on the bank of river, with luggage on head, then in the river water, your image is seen topsy-tervy. Which is true and which is false? By magic, the illusory appearances are created. How can you call it true? The illusory power of demons, looks to be true in the beginning, but in ultimate analysis, one knows what is true and what is false. All know the plot, intrigue of Ravan. Due to illusory head, Seeta, got deceived. What a unique nature of Aashram of Kalnemi! The magical power of human beings, the scheming skill of demons, and strange halucination of Gods create different visual world. It may be resembling true nature but not a true one. It is false, But is seen always by all, and this question always haunts all. Illusion looks like truth to human mind. Here is the mistake of several persons. Try to solve this riddle. You will know the truth. The visual-mirage is not truth. The human body is also like that. That is why this misunderstanding is spread. The scene is false, the sensory body is false. If one sees through erroneous medium, a non true scene; what else can be seen? The confusion is bound to remain for ever surrounding human body. Due to such clouded cover of egoistic instincts, human being thinks external scene as true. If one does not use his knowledge eyes, then one remains drowned in the Illusory waters. Due to this state, he does not dare to see, Ultimate truth. The hallucination of visual world, creates obstacles on the way of road to truth. Thereby, the ultimate aim of man, ‘to see himself, by himself’ remains for away. The man does not make up his mind to reach there. By such Ego man cannot reach the ultimate truth. If you wear the spectacles, of human body, then within its power only the outside world can be seen. Has he got the power to see beyond this permenter of human ability? Whatever is seen is the only truth! Such attitude pervades the human mind with whatever attiutde one sees, its reflection photographs the mind accordingly and with instructions of mind, one gets experience actually. Increases the power of your vision, By lens you can see the larger world. When man flies in the space, he sees the larger world. When man flies in the space, he sees totally different world. Then, this discovered world, looks to be different than our usual scene. So we should not be obstinate in saying, whatever we see is the only truth. Therefore the reply to query who am I ? is obtained when man gets rid of his ego and becomes one with God. Then man is satisfied. Now the disciples are satisfied.

KNOW SECRET WEALTH

Samarth explains further. There is lot of secret wealth. But how can servant know it? He is able to recognise the things outwardly. The only knowledgeable, knows the real wealth, uncovered and remaining in the mind. The learned Omnipotent, understands the pursuit of truth. Others like the mundane affairs. The coolie carries the luggage. The superior enjoys the valuable ornaments. Everybody gets according to his destiny. Some collect sticks while some cowdung fuel. Some eat rich food, somehave to eat the spent over, excretia. ‘Chintamanimagical stone’, is concealed over, which looks like the piece of glass . The mines of gold and jewels are inside, whereas outside view is stones scattered along with soil. So many persons who constantly worried about their living, search for variety of opinions. So they are not able to understand the substance; and pick up only shallow things. The good ones get good response. The lazy persons get accordingly. Know it well, that this visual world is temporary. The limitless soul is totally different. It is not necessary to give up the family life. It is not necessary to give up daily routine of attending to family affairs. When one considers properly, he experienced the meaning of life. Whoever gets this experience is a wise man. Without proof there is nothing, How can one call, experience and estimation; cash and credit, to be one and same? In this span of life, a man can remove all doubts and progress towards ultimate aim, then even by continuing to lead the family life, with aloofness, he can reach the stage of salvation. Samarth Ramdas, requests all, that they should destroy the doubts with the help of good guru and liberate themselves.

EXPERIENCE PEACE OF MIND

To attain peace of mind is sure, but disciples requested Swamiji to explain and describe the ultimate truth. Hence Samarth said, ‘OH! Brothers, the peace of mind is indescribable. | The dumb eats sweet, | but to explain the sweetness, his speech is not capable. | If one asks anybody to tell his experience, | it cannot be told. | Peace of mind is the place of experience, which cannot be described by words, but it is impossible without expression of some words.
The gist of Vedas, is Pursuit of truth. This is understood by company of saints.’ Samarth is narrating his own experience. With the blessing of good Guru, it is possible to talk, which cannot be related. It is possible to give ‘Gur’ to ascertain the sweet taste. Whoever searches for self, he automatically gets the experience. One gets into trance, in search for self. In the first position of discourse, it is said that the soul is all witness. But when one tries to know the conclusion, one has to go beyond all witness stage. In this state of "Third order-Turiya of meditation, but thereafter by becoming one with universal self, one enjoys the sublime bliss and joy. ‘The words may carry any meaning, once experience is gained, words have done their work. With the aid of words, there is a feeling of self, but once self is experienced, the words lose their utility.’ The words are futile, the meaning is important. Just like removing the weeds and picking up the grain, one has to give up, talking-words-medium, and get pure actual experience, and search for inner meaning. The seperate state of visual world and absolute truth is called ‘talking medium’ whereas, to meditate over its inner meanings is called symptom of pure truth. This is known as power of illusion, the first portion of discourse. The Truth, sifted from microscopic space, is the centralpoint of experience and from that the imagination is built. False idea, cannot be true at all. What is the experience, without state of dualism? To call taking experience without dual existence, is in vain. In the Non-Dual state, the dual state, gets ashamed. The combination of experience, object of experience, and the experience, give man peace of mind. Experience of ultimate truth simply cannot be told.
Talking starts with ‘Omkar’. But once it leaves, which is the pronounciation? The experience and the person getting experience are there, due to Illusion. Once, the root of Illusion is weeded out what about this dual state? The object is one and we are more. Due to differentation, One can talk of prudence of experience. The Illusion is the mother of separate status. | The unity, non seperateness, is from the beginning. | The unborn was sleeping. | He saw in the dream and surrendered before good Guru, | in view of unhappiness of mundane affairs. | With the blessing of Guru, he understood that this, | wordly affairs, is falsity. | Once the knowledge dawns on him, he asks for the address of Ignorance. | What was there, did not to remain. Whatever is not there also continued, not to remain. ‘Existence’ and ‘nonexistence’ both got extinguished, and what survived is ultimate Truth in absolute. Once, such discourse of ‘Advaita’ spreads everywhere, talk of dualism subsides. The discourse on truth and knowledge, creates, lot of awakening. So listeners should be attentive, concentrate in mind and comprehend the signals of inner mind, of peace and tranquility. Whatever knowledge was told, it got carried away, in dream. The unspeakable happiness is beyond words. The unborn sees the scene in dream. Once he is awake, the words stopped. One did not understand the end. One takes the experience of self universal. ‘OH! Desciples, you are all ‘UNBORN’,the family life is your dream. Surrender yourself, to Satguru, and understand the signs of ultimate truth, by your own experience. After such revelation, whatever one talks, is incomplete. The peace of mind is a resting place. Know that place of awakening. The talking of learned came to an end, and meaning emerged out. By this thought there is experience in the inner mind, but it is not awakening. But OH! Brother it is a deceipt, confusion, untruth, misleading. The experience rested in the experience, though it is felt that one got experience without experience. This cannot be called, an awakening from the dream. ‘Once awake, the continuation of hangover of Dream, you called yourself, UNBORN, in the dream, but while awake the remembrance of Dream did not go away. That means, you have not awakened truly. In the dream you thought like ‘Awakened’, it appears that you got signal of experience, but really that dream is confusing. The true awakening, is far away from there. It is impossible to say. The attitude of Discretion, balance of mind and prudence fall short and hence, unique satisfaction is difficult to be described. Know the sign of ‘unuttered truth’ and gain the satisfaction and thereby lead the meaningful life.’ The queries of many people, are replied by Samarth Ramdas, by detailed, illustrative talks, again and again. He has motivated human being to uplift himself during this life only.

SUPREME GUIDE

Now Shri Samarth has explained the concept of 14 places of ‘Brahma’ the truth. He commences with, praise of God, Ganesh the origin of all education. It is the beginning of excellent performance. HE is SELF made, from the beginning. The poets take inspiration from HIM for composing melodious songs and become eligible for respect. A person who calls Him to be false, the person who is discoursing, become seperated from, the Brahma the truth. We should also remember Sharda the mother of Vedas, who is also the mother of Original man-, the daughter of Brahma, in the form of inspiration, the power of primal-man. We should salute HER. Besides you all remember. The God and good Guru; who is the creator of joy, the leader for achieving one ness with God, the bequeather of Top-spiritual state, and support of helpless people. Blessings are showered on the pursuer seeker. The Guru, is the abode of happiness. He cuts the false rope of differentiation and therefore one should get liberated and surrender to Guru. In short, let as salute, Sadhus, Saints and gentlemen.

MATERIAL WORLD IS LONG
DREAM

The story proceeds further and Shri Samarth says that the material world is a long dream. Because of greed, people talk that this is my wife, my money, my daughter, my son. Persons who are surrounded by Illusion, are not able to see the sun- of truth. Whole life is spent in the sleep. In that stage, when the body loses its life, it takes birth again and again. He has not recognised the god and suffers injuries. In order to reduce such torture the knowledge of self is necessary. For such knowledge the spiritual thoughts and teaching are necessary. For comprehending these thoughts clever listener is necessary. Such person should take interest in spiritual elevation. For others reading of such treatise is futile. Several persons ask, that treatise on spiritual development should be in sanskrit, why it should be in vernacular? Samarth explains, that due to the volume being in vernacular, it facilitates the understanding of meaning. The knowledge of Unity of ‘body’ and ‘universe’ being explained in vernacular it becomes easy, and it can be actually experienced. It guides the seekers effectively. Besides, due to company of saints, the meaning of all scripture codes is understood. There is no problem in knowing the roots. The company of saints, is the root of meaningful life span. By knowing the language, one knows the meaning; and accomplishment of work becomes speedier and definite Due to vernacular the sanskrit becomes meaningful to all, otherwise how can an ignorant know the secret meaning expressed in sanskrit scripts? The meaning is important. The language is secondary. Dut to ego, wranglings take place. The doors of salvation do not open. Search and experience the tremendous influence of God. Just as the jewel kept with jeweller there is real satisfaction, accordingly, placing the knowledge before the learned also satisfies. What is the use of explaining ultimate truth and Illusion, before the person who is completely engulfed by the Illusory-Unreality?
Superficially seen, one does not understand the discourse, even if it is in the vernacular, because it requires deep study. The deep experience, makes the discourse effective . Recognise, Illusion AND TRUTH and then call it spiritual though. How does Illusion look like? Samarth shows, that Illusion is with attached virtues, shape Illusion is a total passion and emotion. Illusion is the expansion of Five elements of nature. The eyes can see the Illusion. It makes one feel the visuals. But when perceived with prudence, it really vanishes. This powerful Illusion, appearance of truth is multifaced. It is the face of god Vishnu. Its limit is unmeasurable. It is the companion of God-truth. The ignorant thinks that Illusion is unbreakable. The Illusion is his imagination. It does not break without real truth. Now listen further about knowledge of Universal self and truth.
The Brahma-ultimate truth, is beyond the virtues, beyond the form, and it is all pervading. The truth is beyond doubt, and cannot be experienced without company of saints. There are unlimited names of TRUTH, but it is still beyond the name. All illustrations and comparisons are incomplete for describing ‘TRUTH’. To experience this ultimate truth, the key of blessings of good guru is required. Without this key, how this storewell of treasure be opened? To gain the Brahma ultimate truth, the mind of man, should become empty. When it is sans-passion, emotion and imagination, one can reach the other side of river of mundane world. Shri Samarath explains that ‘self ego’ means ‘living life of a creature’. This living life is ignorance. This ignorance is because of company of passions, lust, etc. When this company of enemies of human beings go away, when one’s self ego is melted, the ultimate truth arrives on the scene. For all people the truth is one and same and not different. It is the only abode, of residents of all three worlds. The Brahma-truth, is neither a new one, nor old one, neither does it grow nor recede. The deficient outlook, is awakened in the heart of person engulfed in mundane affairs. To give importance to sensual pleasures is the sign of body-attachment-. Excessive attachment to sensual pleasures, leads to deficiency is satisfaction. Due to passions and emotions the birth and death cycle goes on and on.
The advice of Shri Samarth is, "OH! Learned persons, you give up excessive attachment to your- self. | By your behaviour of truth, get yourself united with Almighty. | Naturally, the listener asks, | what is this True-Brahma-the ultimate?’ | Samarth replies, that Brahma is one only, | though it looks different, because experience of different bodies, is different according to ones make up. | This truth assumes that form, which the seeker has seen and held in his mind. Wherever his faith firmed up, such face of Brahma the truth, registered in his mind. Though this ultimate truth is beyond names, it has been described by limitless names as are perceived. May be, there will be multiplicity of names according to experience of each, all are inner souls and that is the supreme truth. After knowing fourteen dimensions of Brahma the ultimate truth, the seeker gets clear knowledge and gets satisfied.

FORTEEN BRAHMAS

In order to explain the doctrine of 14 Brahma; Shri Samarth explains (1) Word (2) Original ‘Omkar’ pronounciation (3) ‘Sky’ (4) All pervasive (5) Life force (6) Power (7) Witnessing (8) Attribute (9)State beyond attributes (10) Utterence (11) Experience (12) Joy (13) Fusion in the shape of Brahma (14) Indescribable Brahma. Understand this properly, then you will never be affected by ego and confusion. It is eternal, without any botheration, without any Illusion. The experienced person knows the gist of it. The ‘Brahma’ is not that object, which can be cought in hands. So take ITS experience, from the mouth of good guru, further discourse about "Keval brahma only Brahma".
The pure Brahma, the spot-less Brahma, Formless vast Brahma. It is limitless Brahma. Twenty one heavens, seven hells, together make a ‘Divine Globe’. There are unlimited such Globes, full of the state of universal self. Nothing can be compared with the Brahma. Just look towards sky cursorily, you see the circles, by eyes. In the same manner the learned persons see the visual world as an Illusory appearance. The sky is seen in the pot of sacred water. As it is difficult to accommodate all, the large sky-space, void, is said. The Brahma is mixed with five basic elements of nature, but it is beyond those elements. Inspite of being in the mire, it is just like a separate void. Please analyse the characteristes of each element of nature. Each contains, the particle of other element. And in any of the five elements, contain the ‘Brahma’ in microscopic form. Whatever objects are seen by us; Brahma is present their earlier than that object. By experience, the riddle is solved. Sky is on both sides, in front and in rear. The void, between the two objects, everywhere, ‘Brahma’ is one unique unity. The Brahma is beyond, name and form. Take their experience. In the bunch of sensory organs, reside the ‘Brahma’. But it does not come out, till that time persons passions are not broken. It can not be seen, but it is positively there to be experienced. Known the ‘Truth’-Brahma and Appearance of truth Illusory power.
This experience means an entry in the state of sublimation with god. The next step is void in the mind. The perception, merges into self-state. Then arrives the scene. At the end, where the Ignorance vanishes, the knowledge also does not surive. The experience also is over. One will get revelation of eternal, ultimate truth-The Brahma.
The main basic principle is explained. Still, Shri Samarth thinks it necessary to remove the concept of dualism beyond doubt, Question arises, "Brahma shines in the inner mind, the Illusion, is actually seen by naked eyes. How can one reconcile both situtions? " The idea of ‘Brahma’ is ‘true’. The Illusory appearance is ‘False’. The human mind, is proud of Dualism. This state of mind, is called as all witnessing situation. But, pre-determination, state of doubt and consideration of options, is the state of human mind. When the mind itself is rid of passions and emotions, what is the utility of-one witnessing-the truth, stage? Till the time one considers appearance as true, one is in the state of Dual existence-man and God.

DUALISM VANISHES UNITY
PERCEIVED

I and you state? When, ignorance, Dualism is removed where is the place for ‘Dual existence?’ When mind, becomes, pure and no-mind void, the dual thought process comes to an end. | Once the attitude recedes to zero, | one gets pacified and seperation of Truth and Falsity-Real and Unrealextinguishes automatically. | The root of all is the ‘Imagination’. | Once it is sorted out, the attainment of ultimate truth is definite. | The false notion cannot survive the sunshine-truth. The thought of unityoneness of Man and God, is the Truth. Whenever, this decision starts shaking, it gives rise to Twoness state. It is just like darkness, following the sunset. So continue to listen and worship the God always.
The disciple is satisfied by explanation about Unity of man and God. But he asks, ‘for a moment, being experience of oneness with God. One is very happy But after that moment, once again one may fall down in the mire and the birth and death cycle continues to take place. How many times, this should go on? After becoming one with universal self, it looks odd, for one to carry on his mundane affairs. How can one who is elevated to the status of union with God, will return back? Nothing is understood. Either one should be one spiritually or one should remain a family man. How many times, one should remain, trapped and involved in the intrigue of both? Even if the sweetness of Truth is tasted, still mudanse life, tempts him to come back, and deprives him of his divine bliss and with this consciousness, the whole happiness goes in vain. So listener requests, and asks Swamiji, to guide him in such circumstances.
Shri Samarth explains, about sadhus who achieved union with God and asks, where others like Vyas, have gone sunk? The listener asks, ‘Shuka and Wamdev, are considered to be free and liberated right from the beginning to end in the scriptures. The Vedas, describe all as ‘Bonded persons’ then how Suka and Womdeo are exception? One has to accept the Quotation from Vedas, but it is not understood. When, both are considered free in this world, where is the deficiency lying? Many, sages, Hermits, Siddha-Accomplished persons, Self knowing persons have taken place in the world.
The bigger than those, are Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh. In addition several Digambars-and Bodiless’ persons arrived and gone from this world, but person who believes, ‘Shuk-Wamdeo’ as only free whereas others are trapped in the mire of life and death cycle, such person is really a learned but fool.
Then does it mean what vedas state is false? This is replied buy Shri Samarth further. The Vedas have spelled out the first hypothesis, the fools stick to it. Saints however are not ready to accept the same. Suppose for a moment this is true, then who will accept the power of Vedas? Whoever listens to even one alphabet of Vedas, his blames wither away. After listening ‘Omkar’ one become pure and pious. Such is the importance of treatise. They speak truth. Vedas uplift others also not only Shuk-Wamdeo. Shuk has explained everything to Parikrshita. He did not remain steady like the Wooden log by becoming one with Brahma. Therefore please understand, before you give illustrations. One must make ones discourse effective, by becoming one with ulitmate truth for a moment, while search for some moments the visual world. Therefore while you are moving and talking, without becoming lifeless one must gain the benefit of self revelation, by the preachings and blessings of good guru.
